Introduction
The Dig Foundation would like to introduce you to a new fundraising event that will benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society. The event is titled The Dig® Beach Volleyball Bash to benefit MS. It's an annual volleyball tournament encompassing bands, sponsorships, local vendors, entertainment, raffles, door prizes and other special events. It's designed to raise money for MS while generating positive promotion for the Onondaga County Parks, local bands, and the Syracuse, NY community as a whole.
"The mission of the National MS Society is to end the devastating effects of MS." The goal is to educate the public about MS as well as provided support for those people who have been newly diagnosed with MS and for those who are currently living with MS. More people are affected by the disease then you might imagine; 200 people each week are newly diagnosed.
The Event
The event itself will be one full day of festivities; the volleyball tournament will begin around 9am. Then, the Bands & Entertainment will kick off around 10am and last for the duration of the day.
Advertising and marketing the event will be carried out through numerous media outlets, news stations, newspapers, radio, television, print, and word-of-mouth. The Dig Foundation has the good fortune to have Kelly Herzog, a seasoned Marketing and PR professional on the comittee, with years experience in Syracuse, NYC and other major metropolitan venues.
There are many different ways to sponsor the tournament. Visit the Sponsorship Page to see how you or your company can be a part of this new Syracuse tradition!! (All donations monatary or otherwise are tax-deductible)
